We may not all be candidates for AA or GA, but we do have our little quirks. Some may refer to them as habits, others may look at them as favorite things to do. But if we call them an addiction, that has an inference with negative connotations. This is an addiction according to the New American Heritage Dictionary:
Compulsive physiological and psychological need for a habit-forming substance: a drug used in the treatment of heroin addiction.An instance of this: a person with multiple chemical addictions.The condition of being habitually or compulsively occupied with or involved in something.An instance of this: had an addiction for fast cars.

Saving the World’s Breasts

A dictionary description of photographer could be something like this:


A photographer is a professional who earns at least of his or her living from photography, is listed in the yellow pages or the equivalent, and operates out of his/her professional studio or home office.


At least that s how we used to describe them.
